A.Installation of film blowing machine
   The pe film blowing machine/pp film blowing machine equipment should be horizontally installed on solid groud. Place the mould, the traction roller and the rolling roller horizontally and make the mould center and the traction roller center in one vertical line. After finishing installation,pour concrete to fix the equipment.
B. Operation,Adjustment and Maintenance for blown film machine
1.Operator should be familiar with the process of film blowing before operation. 
2.Before trial run,check all the motors separately to see whether the rotational direction is correct and check pipelines of the compressor and the blower to see whether they are ready.           .
3.Adjust the air quantity of the blower and the air ring,and heat the mould head of the cylinder. 
4.The heating temperature is generally between150℃ and 230℃. The temperature, which rises gradually starting from the blanking mouth, can be regulated according to quality of mould tube during film blowing.
5.After the temperature reaches the set value,keep the temperature through automatic control for about 20 minutes,the drive the extruder at a low speed to run it,and feed the granular materia1 slowly and fill the space of the cylinder and the mould to the full with it.
6.Care should be taken to observe the mucus state of the molten material which flows out of the mould head, and lead the compressed air into the mould channel, clamp press the mould tube with g1oves to make the mould tube swell up slowly. After that, feed in the traction roller, adjust the air quantity of the blower until the mould tube is stable and     reaches the required size, then roll up.
7.If the thickness is uneven, the screws beside the mould should be adjusted until it even.
8.If the machine head is of rotary type, it will start rotating after the mould tube is stable.
9.If the machine is stopped for long, antirust oil should be added.
C.Lubrication of  film blowing machine:
1.Add 30#~40# ordinary gear oil to the reduction gearbox till the oil level is above the observation window of the oil mirror,and replace the oil once half a year. 
2.If the oil level is lower than the observation window of the oil mirror, machine should be added oil in time.
3.Drip oil to every drive sprocket, chain and gear once every shift

The mould tube is gourd is shape with uneven width.

1. The gourdshape with regularity is due to influence of change of clamping force of traction roller or mechanical resistance of traction roller caused by mechanical drive.

2. The gourd shape without regularity is due to uneven drawing speed and too large pressure of the air ring.

1.Increase the clamping force of the traction roller properly and repair the part of mechanical drive.

2. Regulate the drawing speed to make it stable, and adjust

the pressure of the air ring to make it even and uniform.

Thickness of film is uneven

 

1. The bush gap is uneven.

2. The cooling air of the air ring is uneven.

3. The core rod is off center and out of shape.

4. Temperature around the head is uneven.

 

1. Adjust the bush gap.

2.Regulate the quantity of cooling air to make it even.

3. Adjust the core rod.

4. Check and repair the heater of the head.

Crease

1. Thickness of film is uneven.

2.Insufficient or uneven cooling.

  1. strut or traction roller is not aligned to the head center.

4. The angle of propeller strut is too big.

5. The angle of propeller strut doesn't fit the diameter of the mould tube.

6. Draw rollers are distorted or different in tightness.

1. Adjust the thickness of film.

2.Enhance coling or lower linear speed.

3. Correct the central line.

4. Reduce the angle of propeller strut.

Transparency is poor.

1. Temperature of the body or the head is too low.

Scorched granule, also called impurity.

Remarks: Because it isn' t plastified fully during forming, the resin forms granules or blocks.

Rolling is

1. Thickness of film is uneven.

2. Cooling is insufficient.

3. Propeller strut gap is uneven.

4. The traction roller deviates.

5. Air in the film tube causes

crease.

1. Adjust the thickness of film.

2. Enhance cooling.

3.Correct propeller strut gap.

4. Adjust the clamp force of the traction roller to make both ends uniform.

5. Eliminate the air in mould tube and the crease phenomenon.

Air bubbles.

The material is moist

Dry the material.

The surface turns blue, forms ripple and mist.

1. Temperature of the body or the bush is too low.

2. The rotational speed of screw is too high.

1. Raise the temperature of the body or the bush.

2.Lower the rotational speed of screw.

Remarks: Because of poor plastification, the surface of the film

Discharging quantity reduces gradually.

Production time is too long,and the filter screen is blocked up.

 

Adjust the filter screen.

The film becomes sticky and can’t separate easily.

1. Temperature of the body and the head is too high.

2. The traction roller is too tight or drawing speed is too high.

3. Cooling is insufficient.

1. Lower the temperature of the body and the head.

2. Adjust the tightness of traction roller or lower drawing speed.

3. Enhance cooling.

When the film blowing begins the film loses quantity too much

 

1. The size of bubble stabilizer is improper.

2. The bubble stabilizer is too cold.

 

1.Replace it with a bubble stabilizer with proper size.

  1. It neesds preheating or wind it with blanket.

The thickness of film is uneven

1. The bush gap is improper.

2. The bubble stabilizer is not in vertical state.

3. Quantity of blowing air is uneven.

4. Temperature of the head is not enough.

1. Adjust the bush gap.

  1. Fasten it well,if the supporting rod bends replace or correct it.

3.Check the water pipe of cooling ring to see whether is slants.

4.Check the heater to see whether it has short circuit.

5.Replace it eith a bubble stabilizer with proper size

The film bublbble is unstable

1. Cool curing line is too high.

2. Cooling air flows in all directions.

1.Adjust it to a proper height(Don'. t lower it too much).

2. Check the blower, tube and external cooling device.

The mould tube is torn

1. It is mixed with other things.

2. Theickness of film is uneven.

3. The internal bubble stabilizer is theck and big or has slope.

4. Temperature of forming is too low.

5. Drawing speed is too high.

1.Replace the filter screen and clear the head.

2.Refer to uneven film thickness.

3. Replace it with proper bubble stabilizer and use straight barrel type at high speed.

4.Raise temperature of forming properly

5. Lower the drawing speed.

The film has longitudinal

cracks.

1. Degree of lateral orientation is too low.

2. Thickness is uneven.

3. There exists damage on the film surface.

1. Reduce the diameter of bush(namely increase film blowing ratio) , heighten cool curing line, if dia.of bubble syabilizer is too large,replace it.

2. Refer to uneven film thickness.

3. Check the bush and bubble stabilizer to see whether there is any dange.

The center of film wrinkles.

1. Distance between cool curing line and traction roller is too long.

  1. Open angle of stable board(V-clamp plate)is too small.

1. Rise up the cool curing line or lower the draw roller.

2. Enlarge the open angle of stable board(V-clamp plate)

The edge of film loosens.

Distance beween cool curing line and traction roller is too short.

Lower the cool curing line or raise the traction roller.
